The GME MT403FF EPIRB has position location accuracy to within 5 kms and a stable transmitted signal which results in fast response times. This EPIRB is a Class 2, Category 1 in a fully enclosed float free housing with a Hammar HRU that releases the beacon at a certain depth automatically.

It also has a unique energy conserving microprocessor technology which allows the battery replacement period to be extended to 6 years.
